School closed for two days due to tornado.
Yeah, btw, a category F-1 tornado hit my school. By this, I mean down the street from me.
Wtf, I live in a tornado prone area???
And I had JUST MISSED IT cause I left about 5 minutes before everything went down. My house is okay though. Power just went out for about 2 hours collectively.
And I remember, just before I left, complaining about how it was ridiculously hot and there was absolutely no wind....

Fuck this job. Who the fuck goes to the movies on a Monday night. And the random rush at 6:30? Fuck you.
I hate slipping and sliding because the floor is based with butter. Omgggg.
What makes it worth it?: My boss' attempt at taking a shot of butter (aka oil), butter salt, cheese sauce (like the nacho stuff), and Diet Coke. Then seeing him throw it all back up.
All in all, I love this job.

Hello LJ!
Eh, long time I'm guessing. I've been off grounding for a week, but not much has changed. I'm not really allowed out, and to be perfectly honest, it's way too much to explain. At least now; I'm in a good mood, I don't want to spoil it.
So, really, this Physics summer work?? Ouch. I've got a lot of goals this summer, I'm really hoping to meet each and every one. Finally got a job! At the Carmike Cinema, I'm so excited :]. But (because of course there has to be a but), my school's guidance counselor in charge of the working papers is incredibly stupid and lets her son handle important paper work and 1. lost mine, 2. waited forever to let me know she found them, and 3. sent the wrong card, fucking idiot. Thanks.
So I start next week even though I got the job a month ago. CUTE :D!
I plan on finishing all of my summer work by the end of the first week of August (probably going to be the second week). This book Brave New World is blowing my mind. I have to finishstart my graduation project.
You know, now that half of my summer was wasted, thanks mom, things seem to be coming along a lot quicker than I'd rather they did. Fuck groundation. Ugh.
On lighter notes: DARK KNIGHT WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY LIFE. <3333333333333
Amazinggggggggg. I went to the midnight showing and EVERY seat was occupied, so I had to sit in the front row :D. Well, the second. And I had to keep turning my head from one side to the other to see what was happening and omg it was amazing. And then I saw it the next day :D.
And now I have to go catch up on what I've missed on all of your lives.
